datango introduces SmartDescribe AI assistant for datango Creator

Berlin, February 11, 2026 – With SmartDescribe, datango is expanding its Creator with a new AI-powered assistant that supports authors in creating descriptions for datango units and journeys. The new feature is available now and simplifies editorial work within digital learning content.

An AI button in the creator's description field can be used to automatically generate suggestions for suitable descriptions. The texts created can be accepted or customized with just a few clicks. In this way, SmartDescribe reduces the time required for content creation while contributing to higher quality and consistency in descriptions.

datango places particular emphasis on flexibility and data protection: in the creator settings, users can store their own AI provider accounts and decide for themselves which AI service to use. OpenAI is currently available as an AI service; additional providers will be added in future versions.
