Over the course of more than 10 years, Crane Aerospace & Electronics had created hundreds of pieces of end-user training and support content using UPK for their global end users and did not want to leave these valuable educational resources unused. Due to UPK reaching end-of-life, Crane began looking for an alternative solution. In 2025, they tested datango against other products on the market, including SAP Enable Now, uPerform, WalkMe, TTS and Assima, to convert all previously created training content. After extensive testing, Crane Aerospace & Electronics chose the datango on-premise solution as their training and support platform in October 2025.

The available content was transferred to the datango platform on a large scale within a single day. Crane Aerospace & Electronics then began editing the available content together with the managers responsible for the company's system business processes and creating new content in other IT applications. To date, Crane Aerospace & Electronics has hundreds of pieces of content across multiple enterprise IT applications and plans to use datango with Workday as well. With over 150 locations in 26 countries and 11,000 employees worldwide, datango enables Crane to provide training and support in multiple languages, ensuring consistent processes across all regions.
