Task
The SAP authoring tool® Enable Now® could only be used to a limited extent, primarily due to licensing constraints. Furthermore, the complete transition to a cloud service was also considered for the future. However, this could not be implemented in the healthcare sector due to legal requirements (including the NIS Act – Netz- u. Informationssystemsicherheits-gesetz). Consequently, KAGes required a suitable alternative that would also allow for the continued use and editing of the training and e-learning content created over many years, which had previously been made available via the IT Training Portal on the intranet.

Solution & Result
With the campus license, datango can be used across the board for over 19,000 employees. Furthermore, the system and all data generated on it are stored in the KAGes data centers (i.e., on-premises). datango is used across all KAGes divisions. KAGes' IT training portal uses datango to provide users with all IT content, from documentation and e-learning sessions to online courses. This system has also proven itself in the introduction of new modules in the hospital information system, such as the electronic fever chart. The transfer of content from the previous system to datango was complete, smooth, and frictionless. Content creation could be decentralized thanks to the intuitive operation and short training period. The use of datango Live! is planned for the near future.
