Task
Siemens Energy had created over 60,000 pieces of end-user training and support content using the Oracle User Productivity Kit [UPK] and didn't want to leave these valuable resources unused. In 2020, the company tested datango against other products on the market, including SAP Enable Now, uPerform, TTS and Assima, to convert all training content created up to 2020. After extensive testing, Siemens Energy selected datango's on-premise solution as its training and support platform in January 2021.

Solution & Result
The existing UPK content was converted in bulk to the datango platform in under one day and then Siemens Energy started editing the existing content with their system integration partner Atos, as well as creating new content in other applications. To date, Siemens Energy has thousands of pieces of content in multiple IT enterprise applications and plans to use datango with SAP S/4HANA as it migrates from 16 instances of SAP ECC to 2 global instances of S/4HANA.
