Notifications: Everything you need to know
When working with the datango Collaborator, users can be notified by e-mail. But for which processes do users receive notifications and how can this be set?

What notifications are available?
Observers of processes receive email notifications about processes. For example, an observer is notified by e-mail if observed content has been published. Under Administration -> Server settings -> Object notification, you can specify the processes for which e-mails can be sent. Here you can also set whether and when e-mails are sent collectively for certain processes.
When creating courses, various e-mail notifications can also be activated to inform learners by e-mail about the availability of courses, such as users before the course starts or course expiry.
For certain processes such as content requests from datango Live!, comments on content, password requests, etc., users stored in the datango Collaborator also receive e-mail notifications for these processes. The e-mail addresses of the recipients (e.g. admins or course administrators) are entered under Administration -> Server settings -> General / Processes and tasks.
Under Administration -> Server settings -> Object notification -> Notification history, users can generate a log file of all e-mail notifications sent to observers.
