A group is a structural element within an organizational unit. The users created on the datango Collaborator can be grouped together. For example, users can be assigned to the Administrators, Authors, Learners etc. group depending on their function. Any number of groups can be created on the Collaborator. The groups have rights that define the scope of action on the Collaborator, such as rights to edit content or rights to create courses. By default, some groups that are frequently used in companies are already created on the Collaborator with predefined rights. Groups are managed under Administration -> Organizational units, Users, Groups.
