The recording: Everything you need to know.
What is the recording?
After creating (empty) content in the datango Creator, authors perform actions within an application. The Creator automatically records the action performed. The individual actions, such as clicks or data entries, are displayed on a screenshot of the application, the so-called slide. The recorded content, known as a unit, can then be edited directly in the integrated editor.
All settings relating to the recording (e.g. How can the Creator’s recognition be set for different applications? How large is the recording area? How large (file size) should the captured images be?) can be defined in the Creator settings.
The capture area is the area of the application that the Creator captures, e.g. the application page without the taskbar. Before recording, authors can define the recording area in the Creator settings.
The recording bar shows the current recording status and enables user-side control of the recording. By default, the recording bar appears at the top of the screen during recording. However, it can be positioned anywhere on the screen. What is the recording?
